2017 was a very busy year for SCHUBERTH - a lot has happened. We’ve recapped some of these events in numbers.

  • 25,000 e-mails in total were sent from our Service Center in Magdeburg to customers this year.
  • 133,924 miles is how far Sven Krieter flew this year. He looks after our Formula 1 drivers on the track and is involved in all Grand Prix races. This means he has circumnavigated 5.3 times around the world. He sat in planes for 244 hours - that's one and a half weeks!
  • Five motorcycle trips were raffled in our R2Me2 :) prize draw. All the winners will travel to the most diverse places in the world in 2018.
  • Around 48,000 people watched Deniz Öncü (14 years old) on Facebook as he got excited about his SR2 racing helmet - on video.
  • 11 years is how long Felipe Massa has raced with the SCHUBERTH racing helmet for Formula 1. This year he retired from his career in the Grand Prix. #obrigadomassa
  • 4.5 million times is how many times our website www.schuberth.com was accessed in 2017.
  • 673 square feet! That’s how big our booth was at this year's EICMA Motorcycle Show. That makes it 114 square feet bigger than last year’s.
  • 449 employees work for SCHUBERTH and we export our helmets to 55 countries.
  • 37 years - that’s how old our CEO, Jan-Christian Becker, turned this year.
  • Twelve times in a row SCHUBERTH was voted the best helmet brand.
  • We put 53 patterns or a total of nine helmet models on the market in 2017. In 2018 there will be 81 patterns foreleven helmet models.
  • 34 drivers were equipped by SCHUBERTH with racing helmets in 2017. They were very successful in the various car racing classes this year.
  • 7,387 helmets were tested in our testing laboratory this year.
  • Two new helmets weredeveloped and showcased at EICMA this year: The O1 and the R2 CARBON.
  • 46,6028 miles were driven by our sales employees in their cars this year. That's about the distance to the moon and back.
