Collaboration of Touratech and Schuberth: Flip-up helmet AVENTURO Mod with off-road DNA

Touratech, one of the leading suppliers of motorcycle accessories for adventure travellers, has been successful in locating a suitable manufacturer of a flip-up helmet for its specialised clientele. Based in Magdeburg, Schuberth will be producing the Touratech helmet AVENTURO Mod as a development of the new Schuberth dual sport helmet E1.

Touratech founder and owner Herbert Schwarz has been inclined for some time to offer a helmet that combines the comfort of a flip-up with the benefits of an enduro helmet. It was a nice coincidence that Schuberth planned to offer just such a modular helmet for riders of travel enduros and adventure bikes, which will be launched in the spring of 2016 under the name E1. Based on this new development as well as on the close co-operation of the development departments in Magdeburg and Niedereschach, the Touratech helmet AVENTURO Mod will be produced by Schuberth for Touratech, with design and graphics by Touratech designer Bart van den Bogaard.

“Schuberth is the global specialist for flip-up helmets and well known for its very quiet, highly durable and functional helmets,” Herbert Schwarz is glad to acknowledge. “Also, production in Germany ensures top quality. And since many of our customers are already completely familiar with the well established Schuberth flip-up helmet technology, I am positive we have found the ideal partner for our new helmet“. Schuberth CEO Jan-Christian Becker is also fully committed to the new venture: “Traditionally, Schuberth has had great collaborations with OEM partners. That has encouraged us to join a co-operation with such a well-known supplier of accessories as Touratech“. Just as the Schuberth E1, the Touratech AVENTURO Mod will have its European debut at the EICMA trade fair taking place in Milan from November 19 to 22, 2015, and is due to arrive in the shops in the spring of 2016 in seven different colour variants at a price starting at 649 Euro.
