Schuberth selected Best Brand for eighth time in succession
Reader contest held by motorcycle magazine MOTORRAD +++ participation by over 30,000 motorcycle drivers +++ Increase of 5 percent in comparison to previous year
The German helmet manufacturer Schuberth has been awarded the coveted title "Best Brand" for the eighth time in succession in the helmet category. This title is awarded annually by Germany's largest motorcycle magazine MOTORRAD within the scope of the reader contest "Motorcycle of the year". This year exactly 30,245 readers participated in the contest. All totalled Schuberth earned 61.9 percent of the votes to increase the previous year's tally by 5 percent.
Marc-Thorsten Lenze, Head of Communications at Schuberth, was very pleased to receive the coveted award: "Receiving the Best Brand Award is a very special honour for us. Because, in contrast to many other awards from specialised journalists and independent testing institutes, here selection is made directly by the motorcycle riders, with their personal experience from every-day use. We want to express our heart-felt thanks to all participants."
For decades Schuberth has been one of the world's leading producers of motorcycle helmets and has continuously set new standards in terms of aerodynamics, aero-acoustics and wearing comfort. The innovations during the past few years include, for example, state-of-the-art Bluetooth®-based communications systems with preinstalled antenna completely integrated into the helmet or motorcycle helmets developed especially for the physiognomy of the feminine face. Introduction of the first fully automatic, GPS-based emergency call system for motorcycle riders is planned later this year.
