Two new helmet models and a great collaboration
EICMA (Esposizione Internazionale Ciclo Motociclo e Accessori) is one of the most important motorcycle shows in the world. The show has been held in Milan since 1914. It often takes place in November and numerous motorcycle companies present new models and products for the next season.
SCHUBERTH also presented two new helmet models at this year's EICMA: The O1 is the new open-face helmet in three shell and six helmet sizes. With its minimalist design and stylish patterns the O1 is a comfortable jet helmet in a whole new style. It offers everything that can be expected of a premium helmet: maximum safety and absolute comfort.
With the R2 CARBON SCHUBERTH sets new standards, as it is the first carbon helmet with an integral communication system. So 100% carbon and equipped with pre-installed invisible speakers, microphone and aerial for streetfighters, sport touring bikers, naked bike riders and anyone who wants the best for themselves.
The third of the world premieres we were able to showcase at EICMA 2017 is our collaboration with NUVIZ – a Californian development company offering the world's first multimedia Head-Up Display for motorcyclists. In cooperation with NUVIZ, SCHUBERTH will launch the NUVIZ Head-Up Display (HUD) with a special SCHUBERTH adapter from Spring 2018 onwards. The Head-Up Display fits wirelessly and simply to our C4 and R2 helmets. This makes motorcycling easier than ever before.
The Head-Up Display for R2 and C4
The Head-Up Display is fully compatible with the SCHUBERTH SC1 communication system – an integral communication system based on Plug & Play technology, for which the SCHUBERTH helmets C4 and R2 are already prepared as standard. This guarantees maximum freedom while riding, as all communication information such as calls or navigation instructions can be easily displayed on the Head-Up Display. In addition, SCHUBERTH will also offer the Head-Up Display for the C3 PRO and C3 helmets in conjunction with the SC10U communication system.
