The SCHUBERTH sleek C4 sets the standards for modern flip-up helmets and has won a major comparison test carried out by the specialist bike magazine MOTORRAD.

Only on the market since spring 2017 and already the SCHUBERTH C4 is regarded as the benchmark for current flip-up helmets. By winning the MOTORRAD comparison test (Issue 21/2017), the C4 has impressively substantiated this claim. Europe‘s leading motorcycle magazine tested no less then twelve flip up helmets – on the Autobahn, indoors, and of course on the test bench in the Shock Absorption Testing Laboratory.
In the MOTORRAD test, the SCHUBERTH C4 achieved the maximum number of points in no less than four disciplines – these included fit/wearing comfort, aerodynamics, and equipment.
These qualities are reflected in the conclusion drawn by the editorial staff. Their opinion in just a few words: “easy to put on and take off; excellent fit, surrounds your head perfectly, pleasant lining, very comfortable; excellent for glasses wearers; very easy to use chin bar; perfect ventilation; excellent aerodynamics; very low noise level; virtually perfect visor with an enormous field of vision, extremely easy visor change; very easy to use sun visor, adjustable clearance; lavishly equipped; top workmanship. These numerous benefits resulted in a final score of 88 out of 100 possible points and a quoted rating of ”Very good“.
Not part of the overall assessment, but of particular interest to bikers, is the subjective opinion of the four members of the editorial staff involved in the test – which clearly favored the SCHUBERTH C4: two of them named the SCHUBERTH C4 their personal favorite. It was also the only model to be voted into the top 3 by all testers.
