BETWEEN ROME AND MAGDEBURG.
What exactly is your role at SCHUBERTH?
I work in the Internal Sales Team for the Italian market
Sales Administrator Italy
That is what is on my business card I am responsible for the sales contact with Italy When our sales team in Italy mail us an order, I take care of registering the order, setting the client up in our system and inputting the order. Then the order is sent to the production team. Once the safety helmets are ready and have been sent by the logistics department, we receive the invoices and delivery notes and we forward these to the clients and the sales team. The administrative tasks. Since the mid nineties I have lived in Germany.
I HAVE BEEN BACK TO ITALY A FEW TIMES BUT I HAVE ALWAYS RETURNED TO GERMANY
What brought you from Italy to Germany?
My career. I am originally from Rome After school I started a university course but I didn’t complete the course. I left Italy and came to Germany. That was in the mid 90s. I started from scratch here because I couldn’t even speak the language. I took jobs where knowledge of German was not so important and then I worked my way up. I have worked in Internal Sales for most of the time that I have been here. In various industries and various cities. Via Munich and Hessen to Magdeburg.
How did you end up working at SCHUBERTH?
I already knew about SCHUBERTH safety helmets from Italy. At that time they were an insider tip. When I saw the job advertisement in September 2015 on the internet I didn’t have to think for very long about applying. I applied straight away and luckily everything worked out.
