For Schuberth GmbH there is no better environment for developing new high-tech head-protection systems than Formula 1, where the company has enjoyed great success since 2000.

For many years Michael Schumacher went from victory to victory in Formula 1 with Schuberth head-protection systems - today not only his successors Kimi Räikkönen and Felipe Massa trust in this know-how, but also other Formula 1 drivers such as Nico Rosberg, Nick Heidfeld and Ralf Schumacher (DTM).

Schuberth still profits from this enormous advantage when developing high-performance head-protection systems for motorcyclists. For example, all motorcycle helmets are tested in the company's own wind tunnel, where the Formula 1 helmets are also tested, and their aero acoustics and aerodynamics are optimised.

Schuberth and Michael Schumacher will continue their long-standing cooperation in the future: During his excursions into the world of motorbike sports the most successful Formula 1 world champion of all times trusts in a Schuberth product, the specially developed "Schuberth RACE". As head tester he is going to be involved in the development of the new Schuberth motorcycle helmets going forward.

"After seven years together in Formula 1 a cooperation with Schuberth is a logical continuation for me", Michael Schumacher comments on his new role in the company, "nevertheless the deciding factor is not the successful past but the products' sustainability". Schuberth also offers head-protection systems for the police, military, industrial safety and fire service sectors.
