Scuderia Ferrari
Schuberth has been an official partner of the Scuderia Ferrari since 2003. However, the two organisations have co-operated for longer. The helmet producer from Magdeburg has produced the Formula 1 helmet for the long-standing Ferrari driver Michael Schumacher since 2001. The partnership with Ferrari meant that drivers such as Felipe Massa, Kimi Raikkönen, Luca Badoer, Marc Gené and Giancarlo Fisichella chose high-quality head protection - Made in Germany.
2001 was an extremely successful year for the Schuberth / Ferrari partnership: In 12 of the 17 races a Schuberth driver took first place on the podium. Ferrari won the world championship with Michael Schumacher. Schuberth celebrated victory in the Formula 1 world championship as a supplier for the first time.
With the experience of the supplier Schuberth in developing Formula 1 helmets, Ferrari and its drivers won a total of 5 drivers' titles and 4 constructors' titles in the period from 2001 to 2010.
In 2003 Ferrari decided to equip its complete F1 team with Schuberth helmets. In addition to Michael Schumacher, Rubens Barrichello and all the test drivers were then able to profit from the current state of the art of the RF1.
